How will we use the information about you?

NNL has been appointed by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (“NDA”) to manage the Direct Research Portfolio Lot A University Interactions Framework (“Framework”). In accordance with the Framework, NNL undertakes a number of activities for NDA including sending notifications of current and upcoming opportunities relating to decommissioning R&D in the UK that we think might be of interest to you for example this might be to inform you about new NDA PhD bursary competitions, decommissioning research seminars and conferences, or similar opportunities that arise within NDA’s group of companies or R&D supply chain (“Events”).

How will my personal data be stored by NNL?

NNL will treat any data provided to us with the utmost respect. Our IT system is certified to ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials. Our systems are monitored for any malicious activity and we will not share your information with anyone who does not have a clear need to know.

How long do we keep your data?

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised. Who do we share your data with?

NNL will share your personal data with NDA in connection with administering the Framework. NDA’s Privacy Notice is available via their website.
We may sometimes share your personal data, insofar as we are permitted by law to do so, with trusted third parties such as IT companies who support our website and other business systems and delivery partners.

What are my rights?

You have the right to request a copy of any information that we hold at any time and also to have that information corrected if it is inaccurate. Where you have given us your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent.
